As anyone who actually goes to the site can see I am changing the layout again. This layout is using something called Ultimate Tag Warrior. Viewers of the site can click on the bar at the bottom and then choose from the categories to view all of the posts that I have made under that topic.
Andrea found the band that they used for the background music on the Wii commercials. It is by a band called “Yoshida Brothers” I highly recommend that you listen to/buy the cd, as the music is restful and energetic at the same time.
I have been using ubuntu linux on my laptop which has been fun. Learning a lot and finally getting use to some of the more detailed features. Managed to get DVD playback working which took a few hours.
I bought a new shirt (not at the company store) and I should post a pic of me wearing it. It is definitely not my standard fare. It is a move in the direction that I want to be going though. My old wardrobe really isn’t what I have wanted to be wearing for my new job. I need to eventually move away from jeans and t-shirts entirely. That is a little ways away though.
Andrea and I have been playing counterstrike some again lately. We managed to find a server that was full of noobs and we have been wiping the board with them.
Rants:
1.Anyone else seen one of those smart cars running around? You know, the little tiny ones that supposedly get great mileage? My thought is that you will get great mileage when you are smeared on the road because someone couldn’t see you in those things. They are such a terrible idea, at least where the size of the vehicle is concerned.
2.Bellevue, WA should just change their name to “Crane city.” There are like 10 of those huge cranes in use in the city and it is just a huge detraction from their city image.
3.The phrase “You are right, that is wrong, we are not going to fix it” and all its variants.
