Whoo, the last week has been pretty hectic. Just getting caught up with some work that is backlogged (at work, obviously.) Things are pretty busy with the upcoming launch of our new product.
It is an interesting thing, the new product. I think it has a lot of potential energy when it comes to the company. I think of it as a rubber ball. If you drop it from 6 feet up it has the potential to bounce back up and maintain or (in the case of excessive force) exceed the heights from which it was dropped. The only thing that might slow it down is any obstacle or odd surface that it may hit.
The new controller type is an odd surface in my opinion. The ball could either bounce straight up and exceed the the height that it was dropped from because of the new controller or it could just bounce straight out and stay at the lower level.
I hope things go well with this launch. The new system looks to be a decent product with a solid operating system and great games. We will see how it goes.
Traffic today is, as usual, hosed. I am running behind anyway because I had to run an errand. Mission accomplished when it comes to that at least.
I hope to add some more images to my collection of “commute” shots on flickr. I am kind of enjoying taking random pics and seeing what I can come up with. The cityscape pic that I took is going to be changed to another topic though. I am going to start taking a pic whenever I can.
Andrea has started back in school now, which is very exciting. I think she is going to do very well and this is a good thing.
For some reason the weather has decided to get warmer again. It was supposed to hit 80 degree’s some time this week. :: Sweats :: I hope it cools down again soon. While I enjoy the warm weather, I find that my personal preference is for cooler climes.
That good thing I mentioned is almost ready. I may or may not take advantage of it depending on various factors. (I cannot discuss it yet.)
WoW related commentary: I hit level 56 last weekend. Almost there! The new expansion is going to launch here in the next couple of months. I am going to pick up the collectors edition if they come out with one.
