So in order of events:
The head gasket went out on my car about tuesday of last week. I will be pulling the head with a friend of mine this next weekend and replacing it with a remanufactured head. Hopefully, this will make things go faster and we can get the car back up and running within a couple of weeks. This assumes that the only thing wrong with the car is the head.
Friday, my credit card was frozen as Visa apparently lost an entire block of credit cards and they froze all of them. They didn’t notify me at all so I had to find out while I was attempting to buy breakfast. I called them and they told me that I could walk into any local branch of the bank and get money. I informed them that that didn’t do me any good as I had to start work in 15 minutes without breakfast.
Saturday, my computer froze and I had to reformat/reinstall in addition to replacing my CD drive. Fortunately, I had a old 52x CD drive left over from a previous replacement a couple years ago. The drive is clunky, but works.
Beyond that, this weekend wasn’t all bad, just relaxed and played WoW. I started a character on Kargath server since Dave has been begging me to. I made a priest named Dayquil. I am just waiting for a mod to catch me with that name and force me to change it.
