Last night Andrea and I went to ZF and I leveled up to 44. It has been a while since I leveled so this was exciting. Got some really nice items as well.

I love that patch number, first of all.
They really messed up with the launch of that patch. They released it during peak playing time and so everyone had to wait a long time. I found out one thing though, most of the time you can find the patch download-able on another server. This makes things go a LOT faster. So I updated the game and started playing. Downloaded the latest version of Titan and Cosmos. Titan takes up a lot of RAM, I am finding. I may completely get rid of it. There are only a few features that I use such as the performance indicator and the map coordinates. I can get both of these from Cosmos in a much more efficient manner.
Went to a company lunch today for a co-worker who is retiring. We had pizza and hung out and chatted. He had already made his speeches at the office side meeting so it was a more laid back sort of arrangement.
I have been getting a lot more sleep lately which makes it so I am in a more cheerful mood. I can get more work done and the like. I know it cannot last but it is good to feel this well. I think I may go find the second nearest cache to my apartment this weekend. I will take pics as I go.
I received an invite to check out the vista OS. I may do that and I may check out ubuntu as well. Cannot hurt to have a little fun with them.
I have been busy lately with various things. I found a pretty cool internet movie download service that is legal. It is called Vongo and it is run by the Starz network. The service itself is only $10 a month. There are some movies you have to pay additional for but they are all titles that you would expect that of.
I watched Sin City the other day, I really liked that movie. I hear that they are making a prequel/sequel. I might even go and watch that in the theater.
Renee (as in Bill and Renee) asked me if I had heard of AFI, a band that she started listening to recently. I went to Target and bought their latest CD. I do like their music a lot. Some of it contains a little more screaming than I like in my music but overall they are not bad.
Work has been chaotic, with the launch of the DS lite we had to convert all of the old DS displays to DS lite. They look really cool but there are always issues with this sort of thing.
Andrea and I went to Circuit City on Saturday as they had a sale for games for only $8.89 we picked up a game or two and a couple of other things. On a side note they just recently re-opened a Circuit City outlet store near us. They just sell open box stuff as it is an outlet store. They have pretty good deals. Too bad that we are not in the market for a TV.
On sunday, our neighbors came over and we played World of Warcraft. Bruce bought teriyaki for everyone which was okay. As Andrea keeps saying we are spoiled by out favorite teriyaki joint. It is just so good that all other teriyaki pales in comparison.
I have been trying to find a good set of headphones for use on the bus. The headphones that I have don’t have any noise canceling properties to them and so I have to really crank them to the highest level.
I received a call from one of the “two Pete’s” that I used to hang out with. We are going to meet up for lunch on thursday.
It has been exceptionally warm in Seattle and Redmond (just short of 80 degrees) and there isn’t an end to that in sight. I saw the weather forecast last night and they say it is just going to keep going.
I got a t-shirt that I had ordered from a comic that I like to read, Questionable Content. It is the “Teh” shirt. I found it highly amusing and am wearing it today. They sent me one of their stickers as a bonus for purchasing the shirt as well.
I caught a ride last night with some testers from work. They ended up dropping me off in Montlake instead of Seattle so I had to catch a couple of buses to get downtown. It worked out though, as I got home on time. I don’t think I will be catching a ride with them again though, as comfortwise riding the bus works out better. Once I was downtown and on my express bus in seattle it was smooth sailing though. I got home, played some WOW, and then passed out around 10 p.m.
I apparently have this. Although the doctors have tried the brace and drugs the treatment doesn’t seem to be taking. I went back to them and they said that surgery isn’t really an option at this point because it isn’t an extreme case.
So now you all know ;p
Beyond that, and not feeling well for the last couple of weeks, I have been fine. Just tired due to being sick and busy with work and other stuff.
I do so look forward to the weekends though.
